Voices of Philadelphia Tournament
The 2nd Annual Voices of Philadelphia Tournament was held on April 19th, 2008, at Drexel University. The tournament was a great success, as students, coaches, and volunteers alike had a fantastic time watching students debate the topic: "Resolved: It is just for the United States to use military force to prevent the acquisition of nuclear weapons by nations that pose a military threat."
All students received awards, including trophies and cash prizes. As well, Drexel University awarded $30,000 in Drexel scholarships to the top students at the tournament! Please check the "Awards and Scholarships" page to see the top students at the tournament.
We look forward to the 3rd Annual Voices of Philadelphia Tournament, to be held at Drexel University in April 2009.
