Perspectives Debate
Perspectives is a Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization promoting youth debate education. Students who debate dramatically increase their reading comprehension, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. In the process, debate becomes a forum to foster youth achievement and civic responsibility. Perspectives is helping schools provide curricular and out-of-school hour debate programs and offering students meaningful enrichment opportunities.
Our Programs
Afterschool Program: working with 10 Philadelphia public and charter schools.
Summer Debate Institute: providing a weeklong, rigorous educational curriculum to broaden students' personal and intellectual horizons to more than 30 schools in 8 states.
