Winter Debate Institute Overview
January 10-11, 2009
By popular demand, we are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Winter Debate Institute!
The institute will be held on January 10-11, 2009 at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the nation's most prestigious universities. The cost of the winter institute will be $100/student, which covers all tuition and meals (housing is available by request). As well, Perspectives is pleased to offer its students in its partner afterschool programs to attend the institute at no cost. Our Amazing Curriculum
- Prepare for the Jan-Feb LD topic!
- 3 practice rounds guaranteed for varsity students
- Work on in-round skills with our phenomenal faculty
- Students will either debate or observe 2-3 fully critiqued practice rounds on the Jan/Feb topic so that debaters will be well prepared for their first tournament on the topic.
- Lectures covering LD skills and philosophy will be given!
